<content:encoded><![CDATA[ In the Boston area there are a few, but mostly where more than 4 roads converge.
<br  />My Texas-born (then-)wife thought they were very confusing at first. 
<br  />And from what I see when it comes to drivers here in Texas, it would be chaos in a roundabout, it is simply too complex for them. Binary (stop/drive, or red/green) works, but merging, switching lanes and exiting in the right place are hard concepts to learn. <img alt="Emoticon" src="http://dev.blogsphere.net/blogsphere/bsphere3.nsf/emoticons/DLYH-5MZVLU/$File/wink.gif" />

<br  />Of course, in Sweden they go to extremes, I seen small intersections in subdivisions with a miniature roundabout just to slow down the cars even more...
